  1. Only ASCII characters (values 32 to 127) are allowed. Unless the message is being sent to a Mac, others will emerge garbled. This restriction can be switched off in the Preferences.

  3. The number of columns must be between 1 and 500 (50 if unregistered), and the number of rows between 1 and 16000.

  5. There must be at least 2 different characters available for pictures.

  7. The Email Effects preferences file is from a later version than this version of Email Effects. Some settings may be lost.

  9. Web registration cannot be performed, because Email Effects cannot find Internet Config, Netscape Navigator, or Internet Exporer. Please use the Register software instead.
